The construction works of the new IACC boat having the sailing number already given (ITA85) are quickly proceeding. For what concerns the construction of the models and of the stamps the workmanships are being carried out in a yard near Ravenna. Once the works will be finished, the hull will be completed in Sicily, at Dannaval and Sicilcraft Cantieri Navali Srl, the two Sicilian companies selected to carry out the construction works of the new “+39 Challenge” boat.
The works are going on, with satisfaction, according to the programs, thanks to the assistance of the planning team, which is directed by Mr. Giovanni Ceccarelli, the engineer, and to the effective work of Mr. Sebastiano Rech Morassutti, the architect who has been entrusted of the project management. Mr. Morassutti will operate coordinating the planning indications and the working teams in which, among the others, we can find many technicians of Sicilcraft.
In Palermo, during the first months of the new year, the first tests out at sea and the official launching will be effected. |
