Winterthur CC beat Geneva CC by 66 runs in the Swiss Cricket Cup final in
Zurich. Winterthur batted first and scored 176 all out in 38.4 overs. In reply Geneva made 110 all out in 32.4 overs. Man of the match was Peter Swampole of Winterthur for his all round
performance. This was Geneva's second time in the final in the last 4 years, and they
have lost both times. Winterthur last won in 2000, and this year is the clubs 20th anniversary, so
they seem to like the number 20.
