Valencia, 02 May 2006 - Three of the licensees for the 32nd America's Cup
have come up with some inspired collections of products as diverse as a
limited edition vase designed by Javier Mariscal and made by Lalique to an
exclusive gold fountain pen by Montegrappa.Lalique's America's Cup
collection consists of pieces designed by Javier Mariscal, the famous
Spanish designer responsible for the graphic identity of the 32nd America's
Cup. In addition to the limited edition vase, there's a crystal lamp and a
32nd America's Cup key chain.
Montegrappa, the Italian pen maker has created a special 'Fleet Race'
limited edition; a stunning collection of 2 887 pieces, including 1 851
silver fountain pens (commemorating the first race around the Isle of Wight
in 1851), 800 silver rollerballs (the average number of square metres of a
competitors sail area), 204 gold fountain pens (12 yachts by 17 crew) and
32 gold rollerballs - for the 32nd America's Cup.
Following the success of the first replica collection in 2005, the new
America's Cup collection created by Murphy & Nye is a comprehensive range
of apparel and accessories, featuring an advanced technology windbreaker,
polo shirts, rugby shirts and a wide range of t-shirts, belts and headwear.
Women are particularly well catered for in the 2006 collection.
All of these products, and many others, are available at the 32nd
America's Cup store locations on-site at the House of the America's Cup in
Valencia, and will be for sale in the superstore located in Tinglado 2, at
the Port America's Cup and the boutique in the 'Veles e Vents' building
beginning 10th of May.
In addition to this, more than 1000 points of sale throughout Europe are
carrying the Official Collection of the 32nd America's Cup, including the
Spanish department store, El Corte Inglés. The Official Collection is also

America's Cup racing begins this season with the Louis Vuitton Acts 10
and 11 from the 11th to 21st of May.
