| FITA/FISU meeting to discuss upcoming World University Championships

In December FITA met with the International University Sports Federation (FISU) in Brussels, Belgium. This meeting allowed FITA Secretary General Tom Dielen, Event Manager Juan Carlos Holgado and FISU Sport Department representatives Roch Campana (Secretary General), Eric Saintrond (General Director) and Laurent Briel to plan for the following matters: Archery in the Universiade FISU Archery World Championships Mixed Team competition (new competition to be introduced in FISU events) FISU/FITA Memorandum of Understanding or collaboration agreement The competition of the 6th World University Archery Championships (WUAC) will take place on June 14-17 this year in Vinicn? Slovak Republic.
Register to WUAC:
You can still register to the 2006 WUAC by sending your General Entries to FISU until the deadline for Quantitative Entries which is on March 14. Then, one month before the events is the deadline for Nominative Entries (May 14, 2006).
